The Challenge:
A soft renovation of our clients existing F&B outlet meant we needed to design smart and with a minimum fit-out period. They didn’t want to close the doors for more than two weekends! The concept we proposed was a small vintage-inspired champagne bar, an evolution from its former life as a champagne and oyster restaurant. Oysters would still be on the menu, but in a casual, intimate bar setting.
The Solution:
We scoured Singapore looking for antiques, quirky items and vintage furniture, plus developed a mix of original and vintage inspired artwork for the walls in the same vein. Our lighting came from an eclectic mix of amazing finds, classic fittings and pimped junk! Rugs were procured from Helping Hands, a rehabilitation community in Singapore and finally we added some original StripeStuff from The Stripe Collective’s own collection. All in all it became a warm, welcoming, elating environment that had an intimate early evening vibe, followed with a more energetic champagne-swilling late night crowd.
